Our Story
Lil Bill’s bike shop has been a staple of the USC community for over four decades. Owner Aaron “Lil Bill” Flournoy inherited the business from his father, the original Bill. The shop began as a brick and mortar establishment located in the parking lot of the United University Church. For decades, the shop was a staple in the community where Flournoy provided students and community members with quality bike maintenance services at affordable prices.
In 2016, Flournoy’s business was devastated when USC purchased the United University Church property with the intention to demolish it to build the USC Village. Adding insult to injury, USC signed a non-compete clause with another bike shop that denied Lil Bill’s the chance to ever have a spot in the newly constructed village.
However, Lil Bill’s found ways to be resilient. Today, Lil Bill’s is a fully mobile bike service, whenever and wherever you need assistance in the Los Angeles area. After all these years, Lil BIll’s is still delivering quality and affordable services with a friendly neighborhood feel.

Bike Donation Program
Each semester, Lil Bill donates three bikes to college students in the LA area who are in need of transportation for school. Lil Bill’s bike donation program has helped give bikes to dozens of students in need over the past decade, and continues to be one of the many ways Bill finds to give back to the community.
Supporters of Lil Bill
Lil Bill is a participant and supporter of local bicycle related clubs and non-profits, including East Sider Riders, Black Kids on Bikes, the Los Angeles Bike Coalition, and CicLAVia. Through his work with these organizations, Bill is able to inspire new generations of riders and be an involved leader in our local community. On any weekend you can find Bill working with these organizations, leading rides for the youth and offering his services as a mechanic for riders with bike issues.
